AI4HF

Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence for Personalised Risk Assessment in Chronic Heart Failure

OBJECTIVES

  • Design, develop and demonstrate the first trustworthy AI technology for personalised risk
assessment and improved management of HF patients in clinical cardiology.
  • Implement a human-centred, multi-stakeholder, inclusive approach to improve awareness,
acceptance and promotion of trustworthy AI in cardiovascular risk assessment.
  • Develop the very first traceability tool for AI-powered cardiovascular risk assessment, which
will enable transparent and continuous monitoring of the AI tools during their lifetime.
  • Implement the very first international, multi-faceted clinical validation study for AI-powered
risk assessment in cardiology in multiple developed and developing countries.
  • Promote and evaluate the outcomes and impacts of the proposed trustworthy AI4HF solution.

ROLES

  • Develop Trustworthy-by-Design Specification Document based on FUTURE-AI guidelines.
  • Install a federated platform, execute on federated learning and report on activities.
  • Optimise bias detection and mitigation methods.
  • Implement explainable AI interfaces.
  • Set up a system for continuous evaluation and learning.
  • Evaluate feasibility, gather feedback and technical updates.
