An EU-Canada joint infrastructure for next-generation multi-Study Heart research

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop a FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Re-usable) data platform for enhanced data sharing and analysis in cardiovascular research
  • Leverage the power of multi-centre and multi-omics data in personalised cardiovascular medicine
  • Develop tools for image analysis and bioinformatics, biomarker quantification, knowledge discovery and risk assessment
  • Define legal governance frameworks to enable trusted and compliant data sharing across countries in line with Open Science tenets

ROLES

  • Coordinate and manage the euCanSHare project
  • Identify biological mediators and environmental moderators of the impact of ELS on disease and multi-morbidity development
  • Coordinate the development of the data analysis tools
  • Develop imaging, radiomics and AI tools for cardiovascular personalised medicine
  • Validate the platform and tools with concrete clinical use cases
