Our team at ESC Congress 2025!
Posted on: 2 September 2025We just returned from the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2025 in Madrid which was an excellent congress and opportunity to exchange the latest scientific advances in cardiology and reconnect with colleagues after the summer break.
Our team was part of the ESC Congress 2025 programme with several sessions. Xènia Puig Bosch and Cristian Izquierdo, PhD presented how DataTools4Heart is advancing towards global, trustworthy, and interoperable AI in cardiology. Karim Lekadir together with Machteld Boonstra chaired the session on AI tools for personalised medicine, drawing on experiences from major EU projects (DataTools4Heart & AI4HF (EU project)) to help bridge the gap between technical development and clinical practice. In addition, Karim Lekadir, together with Sandy Engelhardt, discussed the potential of foundation models and chatbots in cardiovascular medicine.
We are grateful to our collaborators and to the ESC community for such a successful congress and we look forward to meeting again next year!
